Bir zamanlar Adana ve Mersin’i birbirine bağlayarak Meydan Mahallesi’nden itibaren Kuruköprü’ye ve şehir merkezine uzanan anayolun üzerindeki Kurtuluş Caddesi, Turhan Cemal Beriker Bulvarı’nın açılmasından sonra önemini yitirir. Bu cadde üzerinde aralarında Teras Sineması’nın da bulunduğu çok sayıda sinema vardır. Bunların ilki olan Zafer Sineması yaklaşık 1.000 kişilik kapasitesiyle ve localarıyla Adana’nın önemli sinemalarındandır. Bugün perdesi tamamen yıkılmış olup, ofisleri, locaları ve makine dairesi kısmen ayaktadır.

Kurtuluş Street, which was on the main road that once connected Adana and Mersin and stretching from Meydan Mahallesi to Kuruköprü, lost its importance after the opening of Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard. There were many cinemas, including the Terrace Cinema, on this street. The first of these, Cinema Zafer, is one of Adana’s most important cinemas, with a capacity of approximately 1,000 people. Today, its curtain has been destroyed, but its box office, box seats and projection booth are partially standing.
